My daughter Brynn inspired me to start this blog, by agreeing to get fit so that she could get a Pit Bull. I want to share her (our) journey to living a healthier lifestyle, while promoting awareness for the Pit Bull breed.

The ultimate goal of this blog is to motivate people to get in shape, while helping animals, particularly pit bulls. The Pit Bull breed is often portrayed in the media as vicious. This is an unfair and untrue classification. Responsible and loving pit bull owners know that this breed, when raised in love, shows nothing but affection and loyalty. When unethical, immoral, irresponsible and mean-spirited people use pit bulls for fighting rings, bait dogs and breeding mills, the dogs can become a product of their owner. Pit Bulls by nature are not mean and would rather lick your face than bite you.
